Angelic Greetings!

I hope you are enjoying the summer. I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to travel over the past few weeks to some remarkable spots in nature - Yellowstone National Park and the mountains of North Carolina. How I love the mountains!

Yellowstone is truly like no other place on earth. In fact, the boiling geysers and bubbling mudpots look like scenes from other planets in science fiction movies. On the other hand, this is a place where you experience the real earth. Yellowstone is a visual example of "climate change" with mountains, canyons and valleys that were carved out by melting glaciers and exploding volcanoes over the last hundreds of thousands of years. I was fascinated to learn that Yellowstone sits upon a monstrous volcano that may very likely erupt one day, certainly leading to a major climate change for all of us. Here we are reminded about the true power of the earth and our role as tiny visitors passing through.

I came away from Yellowstone with a deep respect for the tremendous foresight and courage our country's leaders had back in 1872 when they agreed to create the first ever national park and protect this great treasure of the West. I am so thankful that they did that so that my children could experience a piece of the United States that is covered with forests and animals, rather than high rises and shopping centers.

It's taken a little while but as a race, we finally seem to be opening our eyes and awareness to our impact on the environment and the earth. Real progress and change is sure to be slow but at least the dialogue has moved into the mainstream. Yellowstone gives me hope. Wouldn't it be great if 135 years from now people could look back and talk about how our generation showed tremendous foresight and courage by changing our ways to protect the earth!

HOLDING THE VISION: FIRE THE GRID JULY 17

Speaking of helping the earth, there is a wonderful opportunity right around the corner. On Tuesday, July 17 at 11:11 GMT - (that's 7:11 a.m. EST) people around the globe will be praying, meditating (or doing whatever feels right for them) for one hour. The idea is that as we all spend an hour pouring our love onto humanity and the earth, we will create a new connectedness and a new level of peace and harmony on the planet. If you feel guided to do so, you can find out more at www.firethegrid.com.

Saint Padre Pio: The Truth Patiently Waits
By Michelle Martin

(Note: When Michelle told me about her encounters with Padre Pio, I was guided, or should I say nudged, to have her share her message here. Enjoy!)

"Invoke your Guardian Angel that he will illuminate you and will guide you. God has given him to you for this reason. Therefore use him!" -Saint Padre Pio

Jessie interrupted her own angel reading with laughter.
"It's like he's saying, 'Not again!'"
"What? What are you talking about? Who is saying this?"
"Padre Pio! He is SO frustrated! He's saying, 'Oh no, not again,' because you keep calling him St. Francis. It's like a cosmic joke. People have been confusing the two for years, and he's saying, 'Oh no, not again…'"

It was true. As I read Jessie clairvoyantly, a man with a longish beard wearing a brown monk's robe kept making himself known. He repeatedly stood out amongst the other holy ones who dotted the halo of my friend's aura. The only thing I could say was, "St. Francis is here," which I repeated several times. That's where the message ended. I couldn't get anything else. "St. Francis is here. St. Francis is here…"

St. Francis, as it turned out was not there and, indeed Padre Pio was! I had never heard of Padre Pio before meeting Jessie. Jessie had become aware of him when 3 separate people on 3 separate occasions told her she should pray to him. So much can be said about Padre Pio and his life that the mountain of information fills up books and websites. Miraculous healing after healing, instances of bilocation and levitation, supernatural knowledge and celestial perfumes, which often announced his presence both physically and psychically were just some of what compelled the Catholic Church to canonize him a saint in 2002 (he died in 1968). He saw the angelic realm, seeing his guardian angel in form and communicating with the guardian angels of those who called on him for help. His own work can be likened to the great ones. Father Tarcigio, who many times witnessed Padre Pio work with troubled souls said, "More than once before leaving the body of a possessed, the devil has shouted, 'Padre Pio, you give us more trouble than St. Michael!'" (1)

Indeed after calling on Padre Pio for help for the first time, I was astounded by the swiftness and power through which he answered my request. It was done completely and it was done fast, reminiscent of my own first encounter with Archangel Michael. When Padre Pio was alive, he accomplished a phenomenal amount of lightwork. And yet, he remarked, "My real work will begin after I die."

Padre Pio is ready! He is also capable, and this is why there is frustration when he is incorrectly identified as St. Francis of Assisi. If St. Francis is called upon, when in fact it's Padre Pio who is offering assistance, then whoever is doing the request will miss tremendous healing and blessings. Padre Pio is available…unfettered by the limitations of time and space (he didn't seem to be, even when he was alive!) to assist every single one of us and our work in the healing of the earth. Especially, he wants to assist us personally and also in our work with others with the matter of healing the heart through finding the TRUTH of the heart (the TRUTH as opposed to the incessant ramblings of our heads, which attempt to convince us to look no further.) He is practically screaming at us to ask him for help: "Padre Pio please assist ____ in finding the truth of ____'s heart."

"Ask! Ask! Ask!" He says.

The amount of power and energy at Padre Pio's disposal is like an untapped natural resource of atomic proportions. The earth's need is parallel to his bounty. His frustration comes from someone who is screaming, "I can help! I can help!" but is unheard. All the while his gifts continue to sit in 'heaven' when they are so needed and wanted on earth.

Padre Pio has said to me, "People need to understand - especially those who believe they are among the enlightened - that the minutest spot of the heart where God dwelleth not, is the very spot on the earth which warrants the healing they speak of so loudly!" In our work and in our personal healing Padre Pio is a powerful ascended master, who points us to the truth in our heart, if we but ask. He says the mind tricks us from finding the truth. This is critical because the truth of our hearts is our direct link to the Divine. Yet, we spend so much time in our heads, convincing ourselves that this or that is true when in fact what we are actually doing is avoiding the truth that patiently waits for us in the heart. Padre Pio can be the supernatural link to help ourselves and our clients gently and clearly see the truth in our hearts. This moment of seeing the truth of the heart (was blind but now I see…) disintegrates the illusion of separation in an instant. The lie that we are separate from one another or from the Divine vanishes and in that moment limitless healing is released.

Padre Pio was not the typical man born on this earth. Nor is he the typical ascended master. He is not to be confused with any other. When seen clairvoyantly Padre Pio will appear with some sort of connection to the figure of the cross. St. Francis will appear as he does with animals. The two will look extremely similar, but Padre Pio will have the cross. That is how to distinguish the two.

As for me, I am soon to meet with Jessie and Serena. Serena is Jessie's friend from Italy, who recently made a vision board after watching, "The Secret." Her intention to help spread the word about Padre Pio is clear on her vision board. Serena is meeting with us to help us plan our upcoming trip to Italy - San Giovanni Rotondo where Padre Pio lived the majority of his life and is buried. Meanwhile, Padre Pio continues to offer me teaching through my writing, and who knows to what extent Serena's vision of spreading the word about Padre Pio will come to fruition. All I know is one evening I thought, "Maybe I'll try asking Padre Pio for help…" It wasn't long before I was to find, "In fact he does not deny his powerful help to whoever asks for help.(2)"

Angel Card Reading/Message

(Note: With the intention of receiving a message that would bless all who are reading it, I selected two cards from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards deck. I am providing the guidance/interpretation I received. I encourage you to be open to any other messages that come through for you as you read this.)

Cards:
Maeve - Cycles and Rhythms - "Honor the cycles of your body, energy levels, and emotions."

Brigit - Don't Back Down - "Stand up for what you believe is right."

This message is about feminine energy and balance. Many of you are feeling out of balance lately and that is due in part to a disconnection with your feminine energy. This goes for men and women equally. Your feminine energy is the part of you that keeps you in the flow. It is receptive and sensitive and nurturing. Whereas male energy is the energy of doing and achieving and moving forward (also very necessary), the feminine energy knows that there is a rhythm to the dance of life and that the best way to achieve any goal is to balance the forward movement, creation, and giving, with moments of rest, renewal, self-nurturing, and receiving. Maeve is reminding us to honor the cycles and not push ourselves when our energy levels are not there. That will only slow us down and make our work more arduous and time-consuming. Maeve is also telling us to connect with the element of water. Go to the beach and observe the waves of the ocean. This is an amazing remedy for reconnecting you with the flow and divine timing of life.

As an interesting juxtaposition to Maeve and the element of water, the card of Brigit shows up with the element of fire. Brigit is a fiery, passionate, powerful goddess who is known as a female equivalent to Archangel Michael. She is showing up to remind us that feminine energy does not mean meekness. In fact, there is great strength in the feminine.

Message From Brigit: "It is not always about following the rules. Please do not be afraid. Do not hide from the truth in your heart. Know who you are and who you are not and be proud of that. When you are in touch with that truth, the fire that burns deep within your soul, then you will be free. You do not need anyone else to believe you or validate you. You will find that you need not defend yourself and yet, with just a few words, words from your heart of hearts, words from the source of the fire, you will demonstrate strength like never before. Before you open your mouth, go to the source. Do not pretend to be something you are not or someone that others expect you to be. Be yourself. That is true feminine strength and power."

One last note. I am struck by the fact that these two cards so clearly represent the elements of fire and water. Again, I feel this is a reminder about striking a balance. While Brigit spoke of feminine strength, the element of fire is usually tied to masculine energy. We need to do our best to balance both of these energies - the Yin/Yang. A couple suggestions: Go out in nature, near water if you can. Simply breathe and connect with the element of water and ask it to share its wisdom and messages for you. Then connect with the sun as an element of fire and ask it the same. You can do this inside, using your own visualizations as well. Another simple way to gain balance is conscious breathing - bringing in the feminine energy on your inhale (Affirm "I Receive"), and circulating the masculine energy through your body on the exhale (Affirm "I Give").
